I am looking for information on Bessie or Beatrice Shoop Kennedy who was living in Plainsville, Indiana in 1959 according to a affidavit of that year. Bessie's maiden name is believed to have been Shoop. Bessie married a Frank Steve and traveled with the circus so left few records. Apparently her husband, Frank Steve, died while they were in Austin Texas. Records show her being in Austin Texas in the 1940s and 1950s. It is thought she married a man by the name of Kennedy and moved back to Indiana in the late 1950s. Bessie would have been born around 1900. It is thought Bessie was born in Martinsville Indiana and that her family lived there. She was native american. Bessie is my Grandsons GG Grandmother. I have ran into a brick wall in my research and would appreciate any information you can provide on Bessie or suggestions on how to proceed with my search. Thanks.
