We know the present Valley Cemetery, which is located in Sparta township where the ggg-aunt lived, was called Pleasant Valley Cemetery in the 1920s to about 1950s. So there is a chance it was called Maple Valley in the 1890s - -

I'll contact the township administrators and see if there is anything in the old records. They just might have the answer.
