Does anyone here have access to marriage records for Perry County IN for the year 1830 (or thereabouts). I am trying to verify a marriage between Jeremiah NORTON and Elizabeth ROBERTSON. I know he was from Breckinridge County KY. I don't know why they went to Perry County to get married. Maybe she lived there before Breckinridge County, KY. I have her dad in VA and KY but maybe he was in IN before KY? I have seen other references for folks going from KY to IN to get married but why? Pam at Pamelamix@aol.com
