Eliza Hutchinson was b. in about 1840 in IN. She married John Thomas Powell in 1859, and had two children before John Thomas died in the Civil War in 1863. Both children died very young. In the 1860 census, Eliza and John Thomas were living in Armstrong Twp., Vandererburgh Co., IN. One source has Eliza living in Evensville, IN in 1898, but I cannot find her in the census AFTER 1860. Who were the parents of Eliza? Can anyone provide additional information on Eliza Hutchinson Powell after 1860? When did she die? Where is she buried? Willing to share information.
