Can anyone help me find info on my grandfather JOHANNES GEORGE FREDERIK van Son. I believe he was in the KNIL (Koninklijke Nederlands Indish Leger) Does anyone know how or where to search for records of Dutch births etc of Dutch people living in Indonesia? I am not sure if he was born in Indonesia or in Zuid Holland, possibly Den Haag.
His son, my father was born in Magelang, Indonesia in 1916.
I am at a dead end. Please help! Thank you.
