Seeking any information re: the irish town of birth and other family information for my gr.grandparents, PATRICK LYONS born c. April 1860 and his wife NORA O'NEIL born c. Aug 1860. Family reports are that one was from the Cork area and the other from the Tipperary area. Not sure if this means the city/town or the county. Patrick and Nora immigrated seperately to the Lynn/Saugus area (outside Boston) of Massachusetts USA, Patrick in c. 1882 to 1885 and Nora in c. 1881 to 1885. They married in Saugus in 1885. Both had two brothers who were born in Ireland and immigrated to the same area at different times. Patrick's brothers were MICHAEL FRANCIS LYONS, born Feb 1883 and THOMAS LYONS born c. 1871 to 1875. Nora's brothers were JEREMIAH "JERRY" O'NEIL, born c. 1869 and MAURICE or MORRIS F. O'NEIL, born c. 1874. Records here in Massachusetts provide some conflicting information as to the parents of Nora and Patrick. Nora's parents were reported to be JOHN or MICHAEL O'NEIL and MARY DESMOND. Patrick's parents were reported to be JOHN LYONS and Mary or MARGARET QUINN.
