John DINAN or DYNAN Born Ireland ?1804

Hi,
Hoping someone can help, I'm trying to get back beyond John DINAN who appears on the 1841 England census as born in Ireland. My family have often mentioned Cork as a possible area from which he came, and we believe he also had a cousin (possibly Patrick)living in England around Liverpool or possibly Manchester areas,we presume they both came over from Ireland. Both went off to join the American civil war from Liverpool years later and John died there. John's son was born in Rochdale in 1835 so John must have come to England pre 1834. Does anyone have any info about him? If not him directly does anyone have Irish DINAN/DYNAN's whose siblings went to England around this time and could be possibles? I know its a long shot but thanks for any help.
After 1841 the DINAN seemed to become DYNAN. Thank you.
