HARTSTONGE Sunfort, Knocktemple, Cork.

In the Tithes records, Sunfort Townland, Knocktemple Parish, Co. Cork there are three HARSTENS listed:

2. Callaghan Harsten 46 acres
3. John and James Harsten 84 acres

I believe Callaghan is John and James father and that James Harsten is my GGGGreat grandfather.

In Griffiths there is only one Johanna HORTSTONG in Sunfort and I believe she was James wife.(although my aunts say her name was Julia Flynn).
James and Julia/Johannas children were:

1854 James (paternal grandfather)
1855 Ellen (maternal grandmother)
1857 Johanna (paternal grandmother)
1858 Daniel (maternal grandfather)
1859 Catherine (maternal greatgrandmother)
1862 Callaghan (paternal greatgrandfather)
1863 Mary Anne (paternal greatgrandmother)
1867 Annie Frances (not sure)

Mary Murphys Parents were Daniel MURPHY and Ellen DIVAN so the naming patterns work perfectly for Johanna being James wifes name.

Is there anyone out there with a connection to the Hartstonges or Sunfort.
