You don't give us much to work on! I searched the Irish Family History Foundation's database. Rcds B4 1840 are iffy. Many events were never rcd'd, or were lost. Abt 1/2 of Cork's geneological rcds are in it. Therefore, the probability of finding your ancestors in it are less than 40%. Assuming a marriage date of 1850 +/- 4 yrs, I found 15 Thomas O'Brien M rcds. For the same range, I found 79 M Mary Murphy rcds. When I sorted these by parish, there is only 1 parish where there is a marriage for each in the same year. The parish is Fermoy, the year 1851. The 1851 Fermoy rcd has the highest probablity of being the one for your ancestors in the digitized rcds. If you view either detailed rcd, it should show the other party's name. Just remember that there is almost equally likely there is another matching rcd in the data which hasn't been digitized yet. Let me know how it turns out. Notify Administrator about this message?
