I searched the Irish Family History Foundation's database. It contains all surviving rcds from 19 counties and parts of the remainder. Rcds B4 1850 are shaky. By 1840 they are sparse. By 1800 only abt 10% of events were being rcd'd.

Assuming Cork is the correct county, only abt 1/2 of its rcds have been digitized. For a marriage between Michael and Margaret in 1841 +/- 2 yrs, I get 0 matches on Michael and 0 matches on Margaret. This means rcds of their marriage are buried in the mass of undigitized data in the rest of Cork, or the rcd didn't survive.

Google the Foundation's name and register. It will notify you as rcds are added to the database.
