I searched the Irish Family History Foundation's database. It contains all surviving rcds for the northern 1/2 of Cork. Rcds were civil registration after 1864; therefore, they are relatively complete.

I found a marriage rcd for an Ellen Callaghan in 1884 in Co. Cork in the parish of Cobh. I found a marriage rcd for Michael Brown in the same year, parish and Co. These are LIKELY your ancestors. A view of the detailed rcds will show if the marriage was to each other.

Google the Foundation's name to start the trail to the Foundation's database. Let me know how your search went. Once you find the parents marriage, you can start looking for offspring in the same parish. It would be easier if you had the children's dates of birth.
