An impressive bit of work. My family hasn't gotten to the point of printing a book. All our rcds are organized in loose leaf folders and digitized as well. Our oral history goes back to the Mexican American War and even the Salem witch trials of 1680s.

I am 5th generation Irish-American. My most recent Irish immigrants were married in Ireland in 1832 and left for Canada in 1834 from the Tipperary/Offaly/Limerick region. I did not know I had Irish ancestry until I was well in my teens - at some point, origin loses its meaning in the U.S. and you become 100% American.

I also have English, Welsh, Scotch, Scots-Irish, Norman French, French Huguenot, and Viking ancestry. Various generations have been tracing our ancestry for 300 yrs. The earliest rcd is a Viking named Raganagh who married a Vikingess named Raganheid in the yr 890 in Normandy. Their son Hrolf married a French girl named Poppa Berenger. Their descendents came to England with William in 1066. We have abt 20,000 names in our family database.

Am trying to tie up a lot of family loose ends so I can record the oral family history and pass it along to future generations.
