I am trying to find out the birth details of my grandmother (above).
She died in New Zealand in 1932 and her death certificate shows her age at 50 and her birthplace as Ireland.
By calculation it appears her birth may have occurred in January 1882.
Her parents were John Lafferty and Grace Lafferty (nee McCafferty).
A distant relative seemed to think that she may been born in or near Letterkenny, County Donegal - but that seems to have drawn a blank.
Any information will be sincerely welcomed.
