Shields and McGettigan Families in Donegal

Does anyone know where in Donegal the Shields family or McGettigan families orgins are. My ggreat grandparents William Shields born 1824 and Catharine McGettigan born 1833 came from Donegal. What town or parish we do not know or parents. They both arrived in Philadelphia in 1853. I don't know if they married in Donegal or Philadelphia. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hit a brick wall.
