Hi Mary, Sorry I've taken so long to reply to you - I've only just visited the site again and read your reply. thanks very much for your help. I think it could possibly have been them because they were married in Maryhill and the family stayed there for a while. They were married in Maryhill in 1890 and their children were John, Patrick, William, Edward, James, Francis and Catherine. I got some help from another researcher and found that Edward was born in Arvagh, Cavan, Ireland. Edward's parents were John Coyle and Catherine Farrely and their children were Rose Ann, Julia, Edward (born 25/5/1864), Patrick, Francis, John, Mary and Elizabeth. All born in Arvagh. I have actually now made contact with some of my grandfathers siblings descendants and funnily enough one of them has lived within 5 miles of me for 40 years!!!!! Can't wait to meet them. I haven't found them on the 1901 census so if you think it's the same family I'd be most grateful if you look up the entry. My email is c.yearsley2@ntlworld.com. As normal, once I hit Ireland I have been unable to find any trace. this has stumped me on a number of lines. thanks again for your help and sorry I took so long to reply. Best Wishes Chris Notify Administrator about this message?
