Good morning,
I am new to research in Ireland and am in need of some assistance please.
My son-in-law's ancestors ,James WILKEY & his first cousin Isabelle/Isabella WILKEY-"
"They were married in May 1835 in Castlefinn, county Donegal, Ireland. "
"Henry County, Illinois" by Henry County, Illinois Genealogical Society, p 247.
The Henry County, Illinois book also gives this information on the WILKEYS:
"James WILKEY [IE} was born 1 August 1807 in South Belfast, Antrim, Ireland. He married his first cousin Isabella WILKEY [IE] who was born 10 Nov , 1810 Londonderry., although her obituary says Ardnaglass, county Donegal. They were married in May 1835 in Castlefinn, county Donegal, Ireland. They had 8 children, the 1st 5 being born in County Donegal & the last three beeing born in Greenville, Mercer County, PA. The family emigrated from Ireland to PA in 1847 where they lived for 10 years. Then they came to Osco Township, Henry County Illinois where they remained on their farm there until March of 1877 when they came into Cambridge to spend their remaining years. They belonged to the Congregational Church in Cambridge."

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I might search for the marriage record, or the birth records ?
