I am trying to find informaiton on a Robert Green and Margaret Sullivan. I am not sure whther they married in Ireeland and then immigrated or whether they met in America.
Robbert supposedly came from County Donegal. He ended up in St. Louis and possibly married there to Margaret Sullivan. They had several children including John, Patrick, Robert, and Catherine Green.
My 2 great grandfather was Patrick Joseph Green. The family moved from St. Louis between 1870 and 1880 to Pottawatamie County KS after a priet, Father Butler, organized a large group of Irish immigrants and helped them to get land on the Kansas priarie.
Robert died in 1918. There is some questionas to whether Margaret died early after their first two children and he remarried another woman named Margaret but there is a Margaret Green buried wih him who died in 1911,
I bielve that Robert would have been born around 1829-1831 and Margaret 1831-1833.
Any information would be helpful.
