my gggreat grandfather was Stephen HASTINGS. His death in MAYBOLE ayrshire was 1891 and the cerrt indicates that he was born in Ireland. In the 1841 census he called himself EUSTON. With this flimsy bit of knowledge I am hoping to trace his ancestry.
It is possible that his parents were William Hastings and Martha Robertson and his possible siblings were Margaret ,Rebecca , James and Hugh. All weer born 1805-1816 and Rebecc says ...1841 ,,,she was born in Donegal
