My grandfather's sister, Eliza Jane MCCOURT, married David CALLAGHAN, on 25th July 1874 at the Seapatrick Catholic Church. David CALLAGHAN is listed as a "bachelor hacler of full age". He was from Banbridge. His father's name is Edward CALLAGHAN, a laborer.

Eliza Jane MCCOURT is listed as a "spinster of Banbridge". She is a servant, age 19 (althought her baptism record shows that she was baptised on 15 Feb. 1852). Her father is Hugh McCourt, a laborer.

I also have the birth record for one son of theirs -- Hugh CALLAGHAN, born 17 Sept. 1877 in Banbridge.

I have just started researching my grandfather's siblings and do not have any other information yet. If anyone else is researching this CALLAGHAN or MCCOURT line I'd love to hear from you.
