I searched the Irish Family History Foundation's database for Co. Down. There are marriage rcds for A Robert Goddard and an Eliza McGrath in 1875 in the parish of Newry. A view of the detailed rcd SHOULD give you the names of the parents for both.

There is a B rcd for Robert Goddard in 1840 in Co. Antrim.

There are no B rcds for children in Co. Down for the period 1875-1893. This suggests the children were born in England.

You can use the Foundation's database, or, for rcds after 1864, contact the General Register Office at http://www.groireland.ie.
