My Enniskillen and Fermanaugh County ancestors are John B. Elliott and Jane Kerr, a fairly well documented couple in America. I'm looking for more on their ancestry. For the sake of those who may be looking for this family, here is some background info:
John B. Elliott was b. Mar 17 1769 and d. Nov 11, 1855 in Athens, Limestone Co., AL. His father is said to be Robert Elliott b. 1745 in Enniskillen. His siblings were Eddie, Ellen, and Samuel T.
John B. married Jane Kerr in Enniskillen about 1790.
Jane Kerr was b. Dec 24 1768 in Enniskillen and d. Sep 8, 1853 in Athens, Limestone Co., AL.
They had at least 9 children:
Anndrew M. (sic) b. May 4, 1791 IRE
Robert b. aft 1791
Prewet b. aft 1791
David M. b. Dec 6, 1794 IRE
James C. b. Aug 15, 1799 IRE
John Henderson b. Nov 9, 1800 Rutherford Co., TN
Mary E.Wilson b. Apr 6, 1806 Rutherford Co., TN
Margaret D. b. abt 1816 Rutherford Co., TN
Jane Wilson b. Oct 11, 1826 Limestone Co., AL
Has anyone yet found the parentage of this couple in IRE?
I am descended from them through their daughter Mary Elizabeth Wilson Elliott and I have much on the families of the children of you need anything on them.
