I searched the Irish Family History Foundation's database. It contains 11,500,000 surviving rcds for abt 60% of Irish counties. Rcds B4 1840 are rare.

Clones appears to be in Monaghan. If so, rcds for this Co. aren't on line yet. Suggest you wait until they are. It is possible the name transmitted to you is Cloyne- a parish in Cork, Clane- a parish in Kildare, Cloone- a parish in Leitrim, Clonoe- a parish in Tyrone/Fermanagh. Please recheck you original sources: It makes a difference.

Abt 20% of all Irish marriages are to someone named Mary. A maiden name is almost a necessity with a forename like Mary. Suggest you look at obits, tombstones, etc.

Google the Foundation's name, register, opt to be notified as rcds are added and browse (free).
