You didn't state what kind of help you wanted. Therefore, I assumed you wanted birth or marriage info. I searched the Irish Family History Foundation's database. It contains 11,500,000 suviving rcds for abt 60% of Irish counties. Rcds B4 1840 are sparse. For Bridget Casey, I found 123 B rcds for this name in Co. Mayo from 1822 to 1920. Assuming she was in her teens or twenties when she left Ireland in 1850, this would put her DOB between 1820 and 1840. There are 4 B rcds in this range: 1822, 1828, 1828, and 1837. One of these MAY be your ancestor. At this early date, your chances are abt 30%. Assuming she married in Ireland, this would put her DOM in the 1840s. There are only 3 M rcds in this range in Co. Mayo: 1846, 1846, and 1850. Your chances of finding this rcds are somewhat better: perhaps 40%. For an ???? O'Malley in the 1840s, there are 240 M rcds. This is an impossibly large number without a forename, hopefully a rare one. Google the Foundation's name to lead you to this database. Notify Administrator about this message?
