I searched the Irish Family History Foundation's database for Co. Cork. The database is only 1/2 complete for this county. Therefore, the probability that your ancestors' M rcds are here is less than 50%.

I found 0 M rcds for Daniel Leonard in 1835 +/- 4yrs.

I found 2 B rcds for a Catherine Leonard in 1839 +/- 4 yrs: one in 1836, the other in 1841. Daniel is a rare forename; Catherine is very common. I suspect these rcds are likely false positives.

Without the M rcd for Daniel, I conclude your ancestors geneological rcds are buried in the mass of undigitized rcds in southern Cork. Suggest you wait until these rcds are added to the database B4 continuing your search. This may be a long wait as there are no organizations working on these rcds at present.
