I searched the Irish Family History Foundation's database. It has abt 11,000,000 rcds now and covers 60% of all Ireland. However, BMD rcds for the City of Dublin haven't been digitized, nor will they be soon.
For Mary Hart (+variants) marriages, there were 34 hits in the range 1849 +/- 2 yrs. Two were in Co. Dublin in 1848.
For John Stenson (+variants) marriages for the same range, there were 4 hits. None were in Co. Dublin.
For John Stenson (+variants), D 1890-1910, there were 3 hits. One each in 1903, 1896 and 1893. None were in Co. Dublin.
I conclude your John & Maria are not in the existing IFHF database. Suggest you try your search at the General Register Office at http://www.groireland.ie/ for years after 1864 when civil registration began. Alternatively, you can contact the appropriate ecclesiastical authorities in Dublin for the years in question. Googling the name and Dublin should point the way to their public relations office.
