Ralph, I said I'd get back and let you know what I found out. Some surprises. It was not James Hogan who married twice but his wife, Mary Faulkner. She married 1) William Gee in Tipperary 1899 (downloaded from The Irish Family History Foundation's database) He was a British soldier at Templemore and they had three children. Mary 1902. Death certificates says born Gillingham but no trace there. Ellen 1906 Roscrea Kathleen probably Roscrea but not known if she was older or younger than the other two. Mary Faulkner married 2) James Hogan in 1913, Mitchelstown Co. Cork and had three children Bridget 1914 Thurles James 1917 death certificate sent for which should give place of birth Frank, unknown date and place of birth probably Roscrea or Shinrone. Mary Faulkner Hogan died in Keeloge, Shinrone, Offaly in about 1954-56. Death certificate sent for. So I am getting on quite well but it just goes to show, family don't always know what they're talking about! Colleen Notify Administrator about this message?
