Hi,
I'm looking for information about my great, great-granduncle's daughter (my fourth cousin?)Minnie Scanlan.
She came from Garraunboy, Killaloe, Co. Clare. Her father was John Scanlan of Garraunboy House.
She married Pat Kirwan of Shinrone, Co. Offaly. They had three children - John, May and Pauline.
In the family history that my grandmother wrote in 1957 she writes that John was a doctor, May was married and Pauline was a spinster living in Nenagh. John and May were already dead in 1957.
If any of this rings a bell with anybody I'd be delighted to hear from them.
