I searched the Irish Family History Foundation's database. Rcds B4 1840 are sparse. Also, only abt 1/2 of Co. Cork is in the database.

For a Bridget Holloran (+variants) B 1843 +/- 1 yr, I found 1 B rcd for 1842. There are 740 Holloran Bs in Cork from 1700-1920, 19 of which were named Bridget. Therefore, this is likely a false positive.

For Thomas Scanlon (+variants) B 1835 +/- 4 yrs in Tipperary (south), I found 1 in 1838. For Tipperary (north) I found 1 in 1833.

For a marriage of a Bridget Holloran and a Thomas Scanlon, I couldn't find matching rcds for each in the same year in Co. Cork, Tipperary (north & south) in the range 1863 +/- 4 yrs. Rcds from this era are very good. You might want to expand the range.

Best of luck.
