Tipperary Family History Research

My ancestor came from Tipperary and to date, have not been able to find any more information about him either through various forums or websites. He's one of those ancestors who just seemed to materialise in Australia at the time of his marriage.
I was so frustrated with it all that I contacted the Tipperary Family History Research centre. I found them to be very helpful and I finally had a chink taken out of my brick wall, genealogically speaking. I'm reluctant to pay for genealogy information as there are so many cons out there, but I think that in the end the money paid in this instance was worth it. Worth a thought if you are REALLY REALLY stuck.
Cheers
