Found out that Walter C. Israel was born July 1855 in New York. He married Margaret Sullivan (born Aug 1859 in Massachusetts) in Detroit when they were both 20 or 21. In 1880 they were living with his father Cornelius (abt 1835) and Ellen (abt 1837 NJ).
Walter and Margaret (Maggie) had the following children:
(Birth dates as stated in the 1930 census)
Walter: Aug. 1880
Ellen H: Apr 1882
Catherine: Dec 1884
Mary A: Oct 1889
William C: June 1893
Margaret: Dec 1893 (Now that doesn't make sense! I'll double check her.)
If this sounds familiar to anyone I'd like to compare notes and see what they can tell me about Maggie's life.
