Lavenia Simmons Faircloth - Father/Benjamin Faircloth mother Elender

I am trying to locate info regarding Lavenia Simmons Faircloth, Married to Peter Buchan. Lavenia's name has been spelled several ways. Her father's name was Benjamin (maybe James) Faircloth and her mother's name was Elender. Lavenia's grandfathers name was also Benjamin Faircloth(RS).
I have no idea what the (RS) at the end of his name means.
