After having requested help in searching for imformation about the families of AARON AND LEIB (LOUIS) BERNSTEIN, I am now enquiring as to the whereabouts of their siblings,children,grandchildren.
AARON and LOUIS from Kremenchug, Ukraine and settled in Brooklyn.
Aaron, born in 1886 married Pauline; They lived at 247 Vermont St.Brooklyn.
They had a daughter named Mollie. Possibly,Mollie married a George Schuman,in the year 1933, in Brooklyn.
Louis Bernstein,born in 1896 arrived in 1911 and then lived at 510 Crown St,Brooklyn
These brothers were very likely my grandfather's younger brothers.
He was named SIMON BERNSTEIN and emmigrated from Kremenchug to Leeds,UK.
There is also imformation of a person named ESSIE BERNSTEIN who worked for a Will Steinman (clothing trade). As far as I can see, a woman of that name was a victim in
"The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire" in 1911, but I do not know if there was any family connection there.
Anyone who knows of these families,please contact me. It is extremely likely that they are my relatives.
