I would second Linda in requesting any information concerning an "Edith Taylor" as a wife of Lemuel Israel which is of course in direct conflict with any other known source of Israel family history.
Being a descendent of Lemuel Taylor as well as Lemuel Israel it is of very personal interest to me. I do know that Lemuel Taylor signed an affadavit concerning the validity of the marriage of Lemuel's son John Israel to Molcy Hester in 1833 and of their children too from the Robeson County Archives.
I would find it perfectly delightful as I have tons of Taylor as well as Israel DNA and Olive is the single instance of Regan ancestry.
As a genealogist however actual "CIVIL" documentation is absolutely necessary to carry the day. So far I have found not even an iota of such evidence.
I would welcome it from any source. Any help would be deeply appreciated.
