Just to help you out..there are only 7 cities,towns or villages in Italy that have people currently surnamed Carpinetti in Italy. One is in the refgion of VENETO, one in the region of PIEMONTE, One is in the refgion of TOSCANA and4 are in the region of LAZIO (where Rome is located as a city and a provincial capital). Hope this helps.
Go to www.paginebianche.it and put in Carpinetti in the first line and in the third line put in each of the regions I mentioned above (one at a time please!!!!) and click CERCA each time for a current listing for Carpinetti. Perhaps you might recognize a first name since in Italy first names oftenstay inthe same families. Petertimber
