Does anyone have any info on the Line of Simeon Butler Kenton and children taking the name he used as an alias on the run while he went on expedition with Daniel Boone.
I found a record of Elija butler being born to Simeon Butler (kenton) and Mary in 1806 in CT and PA.
Elisha Butler 1806 md Tempy of SC 1812 abt 1832
Alabama 1st child was recorded being born, the rest elsewhere.
Found records in Ohio, MS, Alabama, Kentucky, OK CT., PA.,TX
and Virginia
Elija's son William is my direct grandfather of generations up!

I did a search of this site and was very surprised not to get one Butler reference, given the historic story of the name change I found that a little odd.
any help at all would be appreciated I have been searching for three years for the father of Elisha Butler and the only lead with the right birthdate is the Son of Simeon Butler. It just isn't there or I just do not see it............ Could this be why?
Could Simeon Kent be the Father of Elija Butler bn 1806?
