A James Cottril filed an affidavit for a Daniel Murry from Bedford County, VA in 1829 claiming he served with Daniel Murry in the Revolutionary War. Daniel Murry's affidavit or letter claimed he had a son that married Mary Kenton a daughter of the famed scout (This would probably be Simon Kenton who moved to Champaign County, OH).
Anyone have a copy of James Cottrill's affidavit?
