Seeking 1917 newspaper look-up for Kaw Twp.

I hope someone can help me.

I am seeking a newspaper look-up for the death notice, or possible obituary, for Professor Joseph Hart Larwill who died on June 15th, 1917, at 717 West 37th Street, Kaw Township, Kansas City.

I would also be very interested to know where he was buried and if there is a surviving gravestone.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.
