Thanks for the response. We know most of the information which you gave us. We will look into the Benjamin F. Lee information for possible family connection.
Mathew Lee was born on an island in the middle of the Missouri River across from Nebraska City. He can be found on the 1860 Census of Marysville, Marshall Co., KS along with his brothers and Father. We were told that his mother died of hyra-phobia. She was biten by her small dog before she realized it was sick.
