Hi,Nevada...I was happy to find that Sarah Elizabeth Miller is in fact the daughter of Willis Miller and Hannah Carr Miller who were in the 1850 census of Todd County. This makes Sarah Elizabeth the granddaughter of John Miller who settled in Sumner County TN about 1800. And her mother was Hannah Carr born 1801 in Sumner County and twin of Mary "Polly" Carr Crenshaw and then Stewart. This Hannah is daughter of William Carr and Elizabeth Dobson. She had lots of brothers and sister. Her brother Richard Carr moved with his wife Barbara Miller (sister of Hannah's husband Willis) to Lafayette County MO. They had several children and are buried in Carr Cemetery in Clay township. Sarah Elizabeth had cousins and an uncle back in Todd County...Simon Miller who was living there in 1850. I will be keeping my eye out for more Gorrell and Miller information in Todd and Pettis County MO.
