I'm not related.

Emibas CD:

Emibas was made from registrations in the Swedish parish to go to a foreign country. It is about 75% complete.

Larsson, Nils
Dräng = farmhand. (unmarried man)

b. 1/29/1840 in Sörby, Kristianstads län (Skåne)

Emigrated 8/8/1867
from Sörby 8, Sörby, Kristianstads län (Skåne)
to Amerika

Source: Household Examination Roll, p. 14

Emibas migration file ID: Sörby L 1867 002

I checked the source (page 14) using the online fee-based Genline site, which has scans of the handwritten parish records.

This is his household as it existed in 1861-1868. I've only extracted part of what this record says about each of them.

This is the exact page on Genline.

Lars Jönsson, born 22? September 1806 in Törsby

wife Elna Svensdotter, born 10 February 1805 in Färlöf

son Nils, born 29 January 1840 in Sörby

daughter Bengta, born 20?? November ?? 1834 in Sörby

daughter Ingar, born 26 July 1842 in Sörby

daughter Hanna, born 18? January? 1849 in Sörby

"Monson" would have been spelled Månsson in Sweden., and it is not likely "Mrs. Monson" used the last name Månsson (son of Måns) after marriage. (She wasn't the son of Måns! Women seldom used their husband's patronymic names after marriage at that time.) Perhaps she used Månsson after 1901, when a law was passed requiring permanent family names.
