I've found a Lars Persson born 09/03/1823 and Sissa Bengtsdotter born 08/09/1831, who emigrated to North America from the parish Vinslov 1854. Do you think this could be the Lars Pehr Lawson and Lisa Bengston that I'm looking for? The dates match, but is this how they would have Americanized their names?
Sissa was born in Vinslov to Bengt Svensson and Anna Persdotter, but Lars was born in Steninge, Halland county to Peter (Per) Andersson and Pernilla Svensdotter.
Lars had one brother named Sven born 02/10/1821, he moved to the town Halmstad and died there 07/31/1895.
Lars mother was born in Steninge 09/12/1782 and died 11/06/1846, the father Peter born 02/04/1794 and died 1861.
Lars moved around to some places before he came to Vinslov about 1848-49, he married Sissa 02/12/1854.
Sissa had three sieblings, Anna born 01/30/1827, Nils born 02/16/1829 and Ingar born 02/04/1835.
Sissas father was born 02/22/1782 and died 09/17/1858, the mother Anna born 02/04/1790 and died 01/03/1883.
According to census for 1900 lived Sissas brother Nils and her sister Ingar, but Anna died already 1857.
