Viola Marie Larson, 81, DuBois Nursing Home, DuBois, died Feb. 28, 2003, at the nursing home.
Born Oct. 23, 1921, in Sykesville, she was a daughter of the late Simon and Cecelia (Henneman) Lott. She was married to Newton H. Larson. He preceded her in death in 1987.
She was a hoemaker. She lived in Sykesville for most of her life.
She attended the Penfield United Methodist Church for the past 12 years. She enjoyed bingo, music and camping with her family.
Survivors include four sons: Fred Larson of Big Run, Paul Larson of Punxsutawney, Ernest Larson of Sykesville and Bob Larson of DuBois; two daughters, Nancy Smith of Penfield and Tiuna Kliaber of DuBois; one brother James Lott of California, one sister, Leola Cyphert of DuBois; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by nine brothers: Elsworth, Lester, Theodore, EArl, FRank, Edward, John, Chester and Charles and one sister, Freda.
