I have just posted the first two of three photo albums belonging to the family of John and Catharine (Shearer) Nees of Manheim, Lancaster County, PA and Green Valley, Tazewell County, IL. This is NOT a commercial venture! There is no charge! I am hoping that some researchers will help identify some of the pictures, and that others may find pictures of their family members.
Almost all of the pictures in the first album have identification information of some kind, but it is not always complete. If you can identify a picture or provide further information about the subject, please either post a comment on the site or contact me directly at beachwriter57x@gmail.com In addition to the towns mentioned above, many of the pictures were taken in Lebanon or Annville, Lebanon County, PA.
Surnames in the first album include: Barr, Bear, Brandfoot, Clement, Kindt, Light, McCauley, MacLanahan, Nauman, Nees, Royer, Ruhl, Shearer, Strohman, Washinger, Witmeyer, and Woodward.
Surnames in the second album are: Bear, Cassidy, Deyo?, Keefer, Latham, McCauley, Nauman, Nees, Parker, Seylor, Shearer, Sherer, Squire, Walker, Witmeyer, and Woodrow.
