Usually it was his father's name. The reason I ask is that I have ancestors from Hasroun which is not far from Bcharri. Their family name was (in English) Isaac, pronouned like Iss-Hawk'in Arabic. I've seen it spelled Ishaak, Ishakk. Notify Administrator about this message?
