Connection between BARAKAT and BERRICK in Pittsburgh

I'm looking for the possibility that my great grandparents George and Angeline (nee LAHOOD) BERRICK came from the BARAKAT family. I know that they were visited by the royal family of Lebanon/Syria when they were in the states. I also know that they were Maronite Christians and that the original surname was not BERRICK, but something similar.

I'm also told that Angeline's given name was Nazhiba [sp?] and George's was Zhidis [sp?], from Hardine and Turine, respectively. They came to the U.S. around 1903.

If anyone sees any connections to information they may have, I'd appreciate the help.
