nancy , mary ann cory daughter of mathew ann betty cory, m Samuel Pherrin son of Barnabas and mary Stewart Pherrin of warrior's Run. corry curry cury curie mathew and hannah lived in honeywell township and their children moved and came back during the indian massacres. John Mckee son of John Mckee and mary maxwell of Dayton ohio m mary ann pherrin, samuel's daughter. and their daughter, anna j Mckee married my ggrandfather Thomas Willis. according to my grandfather's records when he did the research about 1900, the mother of mary stewart was ----hemphill love. That's as far back s I go. We have loves in our family, not the same, and a Reverend Hemphill who was assigned to New Castle Presbytary caused quite an uproar with the young church, Reverend Vance, in opposition, and brought up for questioning. Apparently, Ben Franklin was Hemphill's friend and supported the more liberal views, and ran articles in Hemphill's defense. We have vances in our line on the McCreary side as well. I would love to share information, and hopefully you will see this. my email flwrgrl296@aol.com. Are you musically gifted? Johnny McPherrin was sankey of the early church in Erie having settled there before his brother, Samuel. I am researching and have a clue that pherrin is a derivative of the Feree family, really early settlers in Martic or Fulton Township...or relative of Rev McFerran. Let's share. caroline
