I was at the TN State Library and Archives today and read the will (dated 9 Aug 1860) of HIRAM LOVE. He leaves estate to wife (did not find name) and 2 sons,Berry and Charles. Wife and brother SOLOMON LOVE are executors of will.
I am trying to find parents for MARY JANE LOVE born in Sumner Co TN about 1815, married ALLEN JONES in 1846 in Sumner Co, then settled in Butler CO KY by 1860.
Can anyone connect Mary Jane's Loves with Hiram/Solomon's Love family? Are they any kin? On the 1850 census, Mary Jane indicates her parents were born in NC, but Sumner Co was part of NC prior to TN becoming a state, as I understand....
