I just read some old postings from 2001 regarding James Love and Sarah of McLean County, Illinois. He's my GGG grandfather. I'd love to connect with those looking for the same family. My dad would love to know where in OH they came from as would I. I have photos of James and Sarah's graves from Oak Grove Cemetery if you're interested.
His son John Love married Elizabeth Kimler in LeRoy, McLean, Illinois. I have a copy of their married license. They are my GG grandparents. John and Elizabeth moved to Iowa in the late 1800's along with my G gf, Stanley Love. My grandmother Gladys Love was born in Calhoun Co. IA and ended up moving back to Illinois in Rockford in the 1920's. Stanley, his wife Ethel Doty, Gladys and her husband, Marshall Linquist are all buried in Rockford.
It would be great to hear from you who are looking for the same line.
