I never saw the spelling McCeachern there are McEachin & McEachern families in eastern NC counties. This Angus Love was born 1779 in Robeson Co bur Robeson Co 1853, his father had a brother named Edward, it is believed these Loves from Scotland by was of Cape Fear. The James you speak of may be from the western NC Loves, Mecklenburg Co & Haywood Co, believe they migrated to GA. you may contact Lou Love, llove1039@sbcglobal.net he will probably be able to help you.
