In trying to find parents for my gggrandmother, MARY JANE LOVE JONES, I found a death index for Butler Co KY from 1874 which lists her death on 10 May. It also indicates her parents were WILLIAM and POLLY LOVE of TN. Mary Love Jones was married in 1848 to Allen Jones in Sumner County TN. They moved to Butler Co KY about 1859.

WILLIAM and MARGARET LOVE appear on the 1850 and 1860 census in Sumner Co TN with several other children, including James, Cyrus, Thomas, Samuel, Louisa, Elizabeth and John. WILLIAM does not appear on the 1870 census.

Does anyone have any informationn on WILLIAM LOVE, born about 1801 in Sumner Co TN?
